UST’s Mechanical division operates with one of the most qualified teams in our industry. The work is accomplished by a team of experts to assure the tasks are performed in a safe, quality controlled, and professional manner.
Various mechanical work is required in all industrial facilities to produce the end products. Our pipefitters, mechanics, and welders are properly trained and experienced for the overall safe operation in every facility. Examples of the mechanical services we routinely provide include:
- Fabrication and installation of new process piping systems.
- Preform welding on all types of piping including Carbon Steel, Cement Lined, HDPE, Stainless Steel, Chrome, and many other alloys.
- Draining and blinding of pipelines for maintenance or replacement.
- Performing hydrostatic tests at high pressures.
- Maintenance or installation of tubing for instrument control or steam tracing.
- Repairing or temporarily patching leaking pipelines.
- Miscellaneous maintenance work on cooling towers and furnaces.
